| Aug. 24, 2026 | Classes Begin. Last day to file for a change in residency status. |
| Aug. 24–27, 2026 | Late Registration ($100.00 late registration fee). |
| Aug. 27, 2026 | Fourth Day of Classes. Last day to drop/add and have fees adjusted. Students are liable for all fees for classes remaining on their schedules at 11:59 p.m. Last day to cancel enrollment and have fees removed. Last day to add a class without academic dean’s permission. |
| Aug. 28, 2026 | Fifth Day of Classes. Last day to request VA deferment from VA representative at the Student Veterans Center. Last day to submit department waivers or billings. |
| Aug. 31, 2026 | First day to apply for financial aid deferments and delayed-delivery loans. |
| Aug. 31–Sept. 11, 2026 | Fall 2026 graduation application period. Apply online at https://my.fsu.edu. |
| Sept. 2, 2026 | Census disbursement aid is available. |
| Sept. 4, 2026 | Last day to pay or defer tuition, housing, or fees for all students, including veterans who are not using a veteran deferment, without a $100.00 late fee. Veterans should contact a VA representative with questions |

| Sept. 14, 2026 | Non-payment-of-tuition schedule cancellations processed for students without a tuition deferment. |
| Sept. 15, 2026 | Fall and annual student health insurance waiver appeal ends. |

| Sept. 25–27, 2026 | Family Weekend. |
| Oct. 2, 2026 | Financial Aid deferments expire. Final payment deadline for two-payment installment contracts. Full tuition payment must be received to avoid a late payment fee. |
| Oct. 5, 2026 | Registration for Spring 2027 Begins. |
| Oct. 9, 2026 | End of the Seventh Week of the Term. Last day to submit form requesting S/U grading or to change S/U option back to a regular grade. Last day to reduce course load without the permission of academic dean. Dean’s permission required to drop below 12 credit hours. Last day to drop a course without receiving a grade. Last day to withdraw from school without receiving a grade. Last day to petition to reinstate class schedule cancelled for nonpayment of tuition. Last day for doctoral students to take and pass their preliminary examination to add or convert dissertation hours for the current term. |

| Oct. 12, 2026 | Non-payment-of-tuition schedule cancellations processed for students who had deferments that expired. |
| Oct. 13, 2026 | Last day to submit doctoral dissertation, master's thesis or treatise for pre-defense format review. |
| Nov. 10, 2026 | Last day for submission of the post-defense, final content-approved thesis, dissertation, or treatise and required forms. |
| Nov. 11, 2026 | Veterans’ Day Observed—No Classes Wednesday. |
| Nov. 13, 2026 | End of the Twelfth Week of the Term. Deadline for late drop with dean’s permission. |
| Nov. 14–Nov. 21 2026 | Homecoming—No Classes after 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20th. |
| Nov. 25–Nov. 27, 2026 (Wed.–Fri.) | Thanksgiving Day Holiday—No Classes. |
| Dec. 1, 2026 | Last day for community college and FSU students to submit Spring 2027 transient applications. |

| Dec. 4, 2026 | Last Day of Classes. Last day to petition academic dean for a reduction in course load. Last day to officially withdraw from the University. Last day to apply for AA degree at the Office of Undergraduate Studies, UCA 3400. Veteran deferments expire. Full tuition payment must be received to avoid a late payment fee. |
