| Oct. 7, 2024–Dec. 20, 2024 | Registration for currently enrolled and readmitted degree-seeking students. (New graduate students register 12/9/24), Veteran students. Open enrollment for spring/summer health insurance begins. |
| Dec. 1, 2024 | Last day for community college and FSU students to submit Spring 2025 transient applications. |
| Jan. 1, 2025 | Spring/summer health insurance begins. Spring/summer health insurance appeal window opens. |
| Jan. 4, 2025 | Residence halls open at 5:00 p.m. |
| Jan. 5–9, 2025 | Drop/Add (Including the College of Law). Begins 12:00 a.m. on Jan. 5 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 9. |
| Jan. 6, 2025 | Term Begins. Last day to file for a change in residency status. Early disbursement financial aid available via EFT. |
| Jan. 6–9, 2025 | Late Registration ($100.00 late registration fee). |
| Jan. 9, 2025 | Fourth Day of Semester. Last day to add a class without academic dean’s permission. Last day to cancel enrollment and have fees removed. Last day to drop/add classes and have fees adjusted. Students are liable for all fees for classes remaining on their schedules at 11:59 p.m. Drop/Add ends at 11:59 p.m. |
| Jan. 10, 2025 | Fifth Day of Semester. Last day to submit waivers or billings. Last day to request VA deferments from VA representative in Student Veterans Affairs. Last day to submit waivers or billings for early disbursement of financial aid. All financial aid students must check their financial aid status at https://financialaid.fsu.edu. |
| Jan. 13, 2025 | First day to apply for financial aid deferment and delayed delivery loans. |
| Jan. 13–24, 2025 | Spring 2025 graduation application period. Apply online at https://my.fsu.edu. |
| Jan. 15, 2025 | Last day to request a change to, or cancellation of, purchase of spring/summer student health insurance coverage. Spring/summer health insurance appeal window closes. |
| Jan. 17, 2025 | Tuition and Fee Payment Deadline. Last day to pay or defer tuition and fees for all students, including veterans who are not using a veteran deferment, without a $100.00 late payment fee. Veterans should contact a VA representative with questions. |
| Jan. 20, 2025 | Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. No classes. University closed. |
| Jan. 24, 2025 | Last day to apply for Spring 2025 graduation. Apply online at https://my.fsu.edu. |
| Jan. 27, 2025 | Non-payment-of-tuition scheduled-cancellations processed for students without a tuition deferment. |
| Feb. 21, 2025 | End of 7th Week of Semester. Last day to submit form requesting S/U grading or to change S/U option back to regular grade. Last day to reduce course load without permission of academic dean. (Your dean’s permission is required to drop below 12 credit hours.) Last day to drop a class without receiving a grade. Last day to withdraw from school without receiving a grade. Financial aid deferments expire. Full tuition payment must be received to avoid a late payment fee. Final payment for installment contracts due. Last day for doctoral students to take and pass their preliminary examination to add or convert dissertation hours for the current semester. |

Last day to submit doctoral dissertation or treatise for pre-defense format review. Last day to submit master’s thesis for pre-defense format review. Open enrollment for summer-only health insurance begins. (Open enrollment closes May 15, 2025.) Open enrollment for Fall 2025-only and 2025–2026 annual health insurance coverage begins. (Open enrollment closes September 15, 2025.) |

| April 25, 2025 | Last Day of Classes. Last day to petition academic dean for a reduction in course load. Last day to officially withdraw from the University. Last day to apply for AA Degree at the Office of Undergraduate Studies, UCA 3400. Veterans’ deferments expire. Full tuition payment must be received to avoid a late payment fee. |

| April 29, 2025 | Last day for thesis, dissertation, and treatise students to receive official final clearance in the manuscript clearance portal. |
